The entire 5+ hour drive home was plagued with wind, as much fun as that was I am glad to be back home. Most excellent weekend I thought. I went into the weekend thinking that if the Eagles didn't win both games I wanted them to win the second. Getting the last word in if you know what I mean. Wow! Rush fans are not very nice as a whole and can you believe they actually try to claim to be the best fans in the CHL. Now that's low, stealing a title that has already been handed out. Regardless, it was fun and there were a ton of Eagles fans there. I was glad to see that Borsh made it up safely and was able to take in a few extra games. Does anybody know why Ulanski and Nelly didn't play Saturday night? Panks was on suspension but that doesn't surprise me. The bench was so empty last night there was probably a draft. Also, what's with the backup goalies having to sit in the boxes by themselves, is that so they can be alone with their thoughts or what?

Ulanski, and Nelson I thought they were holding out for the playoffs. Thats just what I heard. I think if that is true its a great idea, those two seemed to be the two with targets on thier head for the last half of the season, they were talking some hits, the other teams sure were gunning for them.

It was my understanding listening to Tori and Pres. Stewart, that they guys were held out of the game because of bumps and bruises. Not necessarily specifically for the playoffs. They stated that if they had not had bumps and bruises that they would have been on the ice. (probably also because the last game didn't matter if we won or lost, as far as standings go.)

I have to disagree with the exception of a couple most of the Rush fans I met were very nice and thanked us for making the trip. A lot of them invited us to come back for the games next year. I do know that there were other people that had problems with a couple of the fans. there was a Rush fan beside us who had to be escorted out by the police. Overall though I do have to say it was fun.
Talking with Tobs after the game on Saturday he said that they were sitting out because of bumps and bruises.

Bumps and bruises that normally would not keep them out. So basically being held out for the playoffs. ok
